FOXY G2 R-60SB Brushless ESC 60A # 1RC31025
The new generation of programmable microprocessor controllers for brushless motors ("sensorlees") for hobby and sport aircraft models with LiPo / Li-ion / LiFe battery supply. Compared to the previous FOXY controllers, these controllers offer you many new programming functions. G2 regulators use advanced technology of optimal control and greatly improve gas response and efficiency. The design of this controller emphasizes long-term resilience and resilience, which the large models with a larger number of servos need. The regulators are equipped with a powerful BEC with a selectable output voltage. This enables a receiver and servo power supply from the flight battery. The special programming card FOXY G2, which is offered separately, is used for easy setting of the controller.
DESCRIPTION AND CONTROL FUNCTIONS
Controller with the high-performance 32-bit ARM M4 microprocessor with a clock frequency of up to 72 MHz; compatible with most brushless motors.
This controller is suitable for most brushless motors with a 3-6S LiPo / LI-ion / LiFe battery supply.
BEC system with microprocessor for a high level of security against interference and thus for reducing the loss of control.
The optimal control significantly improves the gas response and the effectiveness control and reduces the temperature of the regulator.
Powerful BEC system with a selectable output voltage of 5.2, 6.0 or 7.4 V and with peak and continuous loads of 8A and 20 A. The BEC is separated from the other regulator circuits, so that it functions correctly if power boards are destroyed with MOSFET transistors.
Starts - normal / soft start / very soft start are suitable for normal propeller aircraft models.
Simple programming and setting with the help of a transmitter or a FOXY G2 LED programming card.
The special programming cable for connecting the controller to the LED programming card enables the controller to be programmed whenever and wherever. (Please see the instructions for the FOXY G2 LED programming card).
Brake start / normal / proportional / reverse can effectively shorten an approach or landing.
Protective functions: protection at start-up, thermal protection of the controller, thermal protection of the capacitors, protection against overload, current limitation, protection in the event of an abnormal supply voltage and protection in the event of loss of the control signal, all of these extend the useful life of the controller.
Gas calibration for the perfect adjustment to the gas path of your RC set.
PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS
Brake status: switch off the brake, normal brake (with an intensity in 7 levels) proportional brake (is operated with the gas regulator: 0-20% deviation of the controller corresponds to 100-0% of the brake, 20-100% deviation of the controller corresponds to 0-100% Throttle), Reverse (enables the motor to reverse the direction of rotation with the help of another channel with a changeover switch).
Brake intensity: The brake intensity can be set from 1 to 7 for the “normal brake” brake status.
Motor shutdown: The soft shutdown: the controller gradually reduces the power to 50% of the full power for 3 seconds after the activation of the undervoltage protection. The hard shutdown: the motor is switched off immediately.
Number of LiPo cells: We recommend a manual setting for the 100% reliable function of the undervoltage protection. The controller automatically calculates the number of battery cells according to the rule "3.7 V for one cell" if you select automatic detection.
Voltage protection: The undervoltage protection can be set between 2.8-3.8 V / cell; You can of course also switch off the undervoltage protection.
BEC voltage: The output voltage of the BEC voltage regulator can be set to 5.2 V, 6 V or 7.4 V.
Start-up: normal start-up; Soft start (with a slow start for motors with large propellers, with gearboxes, or smaller impellers); very soft start (with a very slow start for motors with large propellers, gears or impellers of 90 mm.)
Timing: Adjustable number of degrees 0-30 °.
Revolutions: Clockwise / Counterclockwise.
DEO freewheel: You can switch this function on or off; it can affect a better linearity or a flowing gas reaction.
PROTECTIVE FUNCTIONS OF THE REGULATOR
Protection during start-up: The controller measures the motor speed during start-up. If the speed does not increase or the increase is unstable, the controller assesses this situation as a bad start. In the event that at that moment the throttle is less than 15%, the regulator tries to carry out an automatic restart; in the event that the throttle is more than 15%, you will need to pull the throttle control all the way down to restart the engine.
Thermal protection of the controller: In the event that the temperature of the controller exceeds 110 degrees , the motor starts to "drag" which means that the thermal protection is activated. If you pull the throttle control below 60% at this point, the "dragging" stops and the control then begins to give an output that corresponds to the throttle position. If you pull the throttle above 60%, it will start "dragging" again. When switching on, the temperature of the controller must not exceed 70 degrees, otherwise it is impossible to start the engine.
Protection in the event of a loss of the throttle signal: The controller switches the engine off immediately in the event that the transmitter signal is missing for 0.25s in order to avoid major damage that could occur due to the rapidly rotating rotor and propeller.
Overload protection: The controller switches the motor off or restarts automatically if its load suddenly increases.
Current limitation: In the event that the current consumption exceeds the maximum permitted value, the controller switches the motor off immediately and then switches back to normal function. If the current consumption still exceeds the maximum permitted value, the motor is switched off completely.
Tip: When switching on the controller for the first time, carry out the gas calibration according to the instructions. Only then can you use the controller and set other parameters using a transmitter or an LED programming card.
