Kyosho V-One R4 Evo.3 1:10 Chassis Kit #33217
A number of newly developed components take the performance of the PureTen GP 4WD V-ONE R4 to a new level. In the world of GP touring car racing, the PureTen is the machine of choice for many racers to compete in various 1:10 scale events, including the KYOSHO CUP. Using the V-ONE R4 Evo.2 as a base, the new Evo.3 includes a number of new components from the Evo.3 chassis conversion kit released in 2023. The new main chassis features an updated front bulkhead and anti-roll bar design, as well as a center-mounted motor mount that optimizes chassis flexibility and eliminates steering quirks when cornering. Modifications to the receiver and battery mount improve chassis roll characteristics and simplify battery replacement. One of the more interesting aspects of the V-ONE R4 Evo.3, however, is that the kit is packaged for use with both sponge and rubber tires. The kit includes a clutch suitable for the OS-12TG engine, with clutch springs optimally suited to rubber tires intended for the KYOSHO CUP, as well as clutch springs for sponge tires for open racing. In addition, pulleys and shock absorber springs for rubber and sponge tires are included. Building on the world-class race-proven reliability of the V-ONE R4 Evo.2, the racing performance of the V-ONE R4 Evo.3 has been improved to provide not only a racing advantage, but also performance that will satisfy even the most demanding drivers.
The kit includes a clutch suitable for the OS-12TG engine, with clutch springs optimally suited to rubber tires intended for the KYOSHO CUP, as well as clutch springs for sponge tires for open racing. The newly developed aluminum main chassis, one-piece engine mount and anti-roll bars take the racing performance of this 1/10 scale GP touring car to the next level. The Evo.3 main chassis hits the sweet spot with optimal rigidity and moderate flex characteristics. Centering of the engine mounting bolts balances left-right flexibility to achieve smooth and balanced cornering. The newly designed front bulkhead allows for switching to rod-type front anti-roll bars. Cornering characteristics can be fine-tuned by changing the wire diameter. The newly developed one-piece Evo.3 engine mount uses two centered mounting bolts that balance left-right flexibility for improved control. The clutch unit is optimal for OS (Ogawa Seiki) 12TG engines. Includes separate clutch springs for rubber and sponge tires.
