The Italian engine manufacturer REDS-Racing is always good for a surprise and in the case of the brand new 521 Sport engine it is a more than successful sensation. This newly developed off-road engine is aimed in particular at hobby pilots who are looking for an inexpensive but reliable and powerful drive.
As our preliminary tests have shown, the new REDS 521 Sport convinces despite its low price with excellent driveability and excellent performance values, which do not have to hide behind those of significantly more expensive engines, because the impression we got during test drives was that it This drive is an extremely lively motor that knows how to impress with very good performance values, easy adjustability and high reliability.
This was mainly made possible by a new, significantly stiffer crankcase that is now manufactured using the die-casting process. The flushing of the 5-channel running gear has also been revised, which has a positive effect on performance development and fuel consumption. Another improvement concerns the carburetor, as the new REDS 521 Sport has the same model as the engines of the 721 range.
In summary, the REDS 521 Sport is a completely new engine, with parts 100% made in Italy with high quality materials from new suppliers.
