Tamiya 1998 Honda NSX Racing #58739
TAMIYA presents one of the most legendary super sports cars on the TT-02 chassis: The Honda NSX in the 1998 version!
The NSX has a mid-engine and was introduced in 1990. It gained worldwide attention through numerous racing events such as in the Japanese GT series of 1996. The 1998 version has a 3.5l V6 engine and had revised aerodynamics, a lower center of gravity and a new braking system.
The 58739 TAMIYA model in 1:10 scale is based on the tried and tested TT-02 chassis. The wheelbase, ground clearance, track and gear ratio can be adjusted in many ways and with the countless optional tuning parts the chassis can be quickly tuned to become a racer. The 4WD drive with central shaft, double wishbones and spring struts on all four wheels ensure a true-to-scale driving experience and the best traction. The underside of the chassis is designed to be extra smooth and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types. The visual highlight is the wheel carriers, which have attached dummy brake discs.
