Tamiya 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK AMG #58722
TAMIYA presents the reissue of the Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK on the TT-02 chassis. The road base has a 4 liter V8 engine with 470hp. The racing vehicle was revised again and got a new aerodynamics package and in 2002 it finally won the constructors' championship of the German Touring Car Masters.
The 58722 TAMIYA model on a scale of 1:10 is based on the proven TT-02 chassis. With this wheelbase, ground clearance, track and gear ratio can be adjusted in many ways and with the countless optional tuning parts, the chassis can be quickly tuned into a racer. The 4WD drive with a central shaft, double wishbones and spring struts on all four wheels ensure a prototypical driving pattern and the best traction. The underside of the chassis is designed extra smooth and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types. The optical highlight are the wheel drivers, which have applied dummy brake discs.
The enclosed body is unpainted and can be painted with the TAMIYA polycarbonate colors.
