Tamiya Astute 2022 Kit | 2WD | TD2 #58697
The Astute 2022 is a 2WD buggy from TAMIYA that primarily appeals to ambitious drivers. It has a new TD2 chassis and has a revolutionary design.
The body shape was designed by Japanese designer Kota Nezu from znug.
The TD2 (2WD) is based on the sister model TD4 (4WD) and numerous parts have been carried over. It has an internal suspension and damping system which makes the front end look very flat.
A very torsion-resistant monocoque chassis made of ABS is used as the chassis.
The body is made of transparent polycarbonate and still needs to be painted by yourself (TAMIYA PS colors).
