Tamiya Audi V8 Touring Car (TT-02) # 58682
The Audi V8 competed in the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) in 1991. At the time, this V8 was driven by Frank Biela, who clinched a total of 4 victories of the season and thus secured the overall title at the end of the season.
The 1:10 scale model of the 58682 TAMIYA is based on the TT-02 chassis. With this wheelbase, ground clearance, track and gear ratio can be adjusted in many ways and with the countless optional tuning parts, the chassis can be quickly tuned to a racer. The 4WD drive with a central shaft, double wishbones and struts on all four wheels ensure a prototypical driving pattern and the best traction. The underside of the chassis is made extra smooth and the battery compartment holds all common types of batteries. The optical highlights are the wheel drivers, which have attached brake discs.
