Tamiya Ford Escort 1998 Costum # 58691
The Ford Escort is a classic in the TAMIYA range. This re-edition is a street-custom version of the original kit 58335 from 2004 (then WRC version). The 1998 Ford Escort was originally powered by a 4 cylinder 2 liter engine with 500 hp.
The 1:10 scale model of the 58691 TAMIYA is based on the TT-02 chassis. With this wheelbase, ground clearance, track and gear ratio are adjustable and with the countless optional tuning parts, the chassis can be quickly tuned to a racer. The 4WD drive with central shaft, double wishbones and suspension struts on all four wheels ensure a prototypical driving pattern and the best traction. The underside of the chassis is designed to be extra smooth and the battery compartment holds all common types of batteries. The optical highlights are the wheel drivers, which have attached brake discs.
