Tamiya Landfreeder Quadtrack TT-02FT PB # 58690
The Quadtrack is the first 1:10 model from TAMIYA that has a chain drive. This type of propulsion is known from Arctic expedition vehicles. Now TAMIYA is combining this drive with the popular land freighter. The robust TT-02 chassis was converted for this purpose. Instead of the wheels, it now has chain drives. The chains have a much larger contact area than wheels and therefore have more traction. The model also has a polycarbonate chassis cover and wheel arches to protect it from dirt.
The body is already cut out and painted with TAMIYA PS-5 black. The windows are tinted with PS-31 smoke at the factory.
The 4WD drive with central shaft, double wishbones and struts on all four chains ensure the best traction. The underside of the chassis is designed to be extra smooth and the battery compartment holds all common types of batteries.
