Rally feeling in miniature! With the 300058746, TAMIYA presents the Peugeot 306 Maxi on the BT-01 chassis!
The drivetrain setup can be customized on the BT-01. The Peugeot is built with a standard wheelbase and front-engine/front-wheel drive (FF) setup.
Based on the FF hatchback Peugeot 306, the Peugeot 306 Maxi was developed with special components for rallying. A 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine in the front produced 280 hp, and the car featured enlarged fenders, a roof spoiler, and a lighter body. Including victories in the 1996 and 1997 French rally races, this car achieved numerous racing successes, such as the class championship at the 1996 Monte Carlo Rally and third place in the 5th and 6th races on the 1997 Global Rally Circuit.

The TAMIYA BT-01 chassis is a beginner-friendly chassis that offers six different drivetrain and chassis variations.
The wheelbase can be built in 257mm and 251mm. Furthermore, the chassis is based on the drivetrain systems of real cars and can be built as a front-engine or mid-engine with front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive.

The included body is unpainted.
